The Ministry for Pacific Peoples (MPP), is the public service department charged with advising the government on policies and issues affecting New Zealand’s Pasifika people. 

In 2017, Voice was engaged by the Ministry to refresh their collateral look and feel to increase engagement both internally to departmental/ government colleagues and externally to their wide, diverse, Pacific audience.  Success was achieved through the use of familiar patterns, colours and the development of a bespoke iconographic system that was authentic, accurate and would help cut through data heavy content of MPP’s messaging needs. This refreshed look was applied to many pieces of work including the annual reports, policy guides, language/ information sheets and stationery

The result, a government department that celebrates Pacific cultures and looks, feels and sounds like the people they represent.
